English 10.
The English Language Arts curriculum in Nova Scotia is divided into 3 strands:
-
Reading and Viewing
-
Speaking and Listening; and
-
Writing and Other Ways of Representing
Students should expect to try various ways of expressing themselves, they should be prepared to read independently on a regular basis, and they should expect to listen respectfully to others' ideas and opinions, and to find appropriate ways to express themselves as well. This course will integrate technology as a way to create assessments and monitor understanding. Much of the course content will be found in Google Classroom, which all students will be expected to use on a regular basis.
