Human Rights Fanatic
Since 2004 I have been an active supporter of Amnesty International.
I believe in a compassionate world. I believe in a caring world. I believe that in order to make that happen, human rights need to be extended to everyone. No exceptions.
Through Amnesty, I am a member of the Halifax Action Circle, a group which gives opportunities for the public to learn and do something about human rights abuses. Armed with a pen, we can improve the conditions for many who live without the freedoms which Canadians enjoy (well, most of us anyway).
